The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on July 22, 2026, issued Guidelines for conducting Practical Examinations with the Supplementary Examination, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•CBSE has issued guidelines for conducting Class XII Supplementary Practical Examinations 2026 for students placed under Repeat Practical (RP) and Repeat Theory & Practical Both (RB) categories.
•Practical examinations will be held from July 29 to August 04, 2026; RP candidates need to appear only for practicals, while RB candidates must appear for both theory and practical examinations.
•Practical exams for regular students will be conducted in their schools, while private candidates will appear at their allotted examination centres or nearby centres if required.
•Regional Offices will appoint external examiners, schools will appoint internal examiners, and practical marks must be uploaded on the portal on the same day, with no provision for later changes.
•Students must contact their schools/examination centres by July 27, 2026, while schools must prepare subject-wise lists and coordinate with Regional Offices for examiner appointments.
